    SANDY -- Mark Floyd Nichol, age 72, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, returned to his heavenly home December 6, 1986.

    Born December 30, 1913 in Murray, Utah to J. R. and Alice Wright Nichol. Married Jacqueline Andrews May 1, 1939, Salt Lake City, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a contractor, builder, and Bee Keeper. Active member of the LDS Church. Served as young men advisor and teacher, Elders Quorum Presidency, stake missionary, assistant High Priest group leader, and as a temple worker in the Salt Lake and Jordan River Temples. Member of Utah Bee Keepers ASS. [sic] Avid outdoorsmen [sic] and skier. Former instructor, Alf Engen Ski School.

    Survivors: wife, Sandy. Children, Kenneth and Annette Day, Fillmore, Lynn (Nic) and Carmen Nichol, Sandy, Pamala Kershaw Savers, Sandy, Allan F. and Cynthia Nichol, West Valley City, 14 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; brothers and sisters, D. Wayne, Salt Lake; Mrs. Harold (Laurel) Gurke, Holladay; Vern C., serving an LDS mission in Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Herman (Gladys) Lundberg, Murray; Rulon S., Gunnison, Mrs. Joseph (LaVae) Cook, Sandy. Preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters, and granddaughter, Lane Savers.

    Funeral services, Wednedsay, 12 noon, Granite 3rd Ward, 3100 East 9575 South. friends may call Jenkins Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, one hour prior to services at the Church. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
