Leith Austin Nichol, age 74, passed away July 13, 1956 in a Salt Lake hospital of complications from an auto accident.
Born September 10, 1911, in Sharon Idaho to Samuel Matthews and Elizabeth Matthews Austin. Married D. Wayne Nichol, October 12, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Retired RN from LDS Hospital. Worked for 25 years. Charter member of the Holladay Ladies’ Lions. Active member LDS Church. Currently involved in the name extraction program.
Survivors, husband, Holladay children, Mrs. Emmett L (Wanda) Olmsted, Rupert, Idaho. Jack W and JoAnn Nichol, Rifle, Colorado, Mrs. E Ivin (Irene) Munson, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Dave (Dawn) Spencer, Draper, Mrs Clifford (Ranae) Fausett, West Jordan, Jan D. Nichol, Ogden, Larry V. Nichol and Sandra Nichol, Sandy. Merlin K and Bonnie Nichol, Kearns. Twenty-nine grandchildren, twenty great- grandchildren, brother and sisters. Dale Austin, Liberty Idaho. Mrs. Dean Hansen, Ogden. Mrs. Leslie (Ruth) Kimball, Fish Haven, Idaho. Preceded in death by a brother, a sister, and two infant children.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 12 noon, in the Butler 15th Ward, 8100 South Top-of-The World Drive. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p,m, at the Jenkins Satte Mortuary. 4760 South State and Thursday at the Church, one hour prior to service. Interment, Elysion Burial Gardens.
